PERM – A significant event—the first session of the School of Restoration Ministry Leaders—took place in Perm from December 1 to 5. Forty students immersed themselves in intensive training. They came from different parts of Russia: Kazan, Izhevsk, Berezniki, Naberezhnye Chelny, Veliky Novgorod, Krasnokamsk, and Perm.
Speakers and experts with vast practical experience—Alexey Ivshin, head of the rehabilitation ministry at the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith, and pastors of the New Testament Church in Perm Sergey Povarnytsin, Alexander Papulov, and Alexander Khudyakov,—shared their hearts and knowledge.
The session program included topics that form the basis of any ministry, as well as specialized topics related to restoration ministry.
• Foundations of Calling: The Heart of a Leader, The Art of Washing Feet, Values of Ministry
• Management and Effectiveness: Priorities and Decisions, Time Management, Hospitality.
• Professional Competencies: Sustainability and Keys to Success for a Recovery Center, Understanding Addiction, How to Teach Adults.
This was not just theory, but the laying of a solid foundation for practical ministry, where leadership is based on humility, values — on biblical principles, and success — on sustainability and wise management.
We thank all the speakers for generously sharing their experience, and the students for their passionate hearts, willingness to learn, and desire to carry this ministry forward in their cities!
Together, we are creating a strong, professional, and value-oriented community of leaders who are able to lead and bring about real restoration.
