Pastoral Meeting of the Southern Federal District Held in Volgograd

In Russia

VOLGOGRAD – On March 27–28, a meeting of pastors of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith in the Southern Federal District took place in Volgograd. Ministers and pastors from churches of the Astrakhan, Volgograd, Voronezh, Saratov, and Penza regions, as well as Kalmykia, attended the gathering.

Leaders of the associations shared messages from the Bible. Bishop Anatoly Kozlov addressed a relevant topic in pastoral ministry—“The Covering of God’s Love.” “It is God’s love that covers a multitude of sins, yet we as ministers can forget this while carrying out various ministries and projects. It is important to remember that it is the love of God, which we have received, that gives us the strength to accept people and serve them,” the bishop noted.

Deputy Head Bishop of RCCEF in the Southern Federal District, Bishop Alexander Kalinin, spoke about the presence of God. By immersing ourselves in it, we are transformed, renewed, and freed from fatigue. In His presence, we gain clarity about what we should do and what we should refrain from, and we also receive answers and comfort.

As part of the meeting, an interactive session was held where experienced ministers answered pastors’ questions, addressing topics such as challenges in ministry, the temptations of this world, and how to resist them. According to participants, the discussion was timely and engaging. Fellowship continued over a shared meal.

The Grace of Jesus Christ Church of Volgograd welcomed the participants with Christ’s love, warmth, and hospitality. Brotherhood, like friendship, is built through concrete actions, and this gathering demonstrated that distance does not matter when all are united in the Lord.
1 Peter 2:17: “Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.”
