UFA – On May 15–16, a conference dedicated to the 15th anniversary of New Covenant Church took place in Ufa. Guests from different cities of Bashkortostan, as well as the Orenburg and Chelyabinsk regions, came to congratulate the church community.

On the first day of the conference, messages were delivered by Sergey Pogorey, bishop of the New Covenant Association of Pentecostal Churches in the Republic of Bashkortostan and senior pastor of New Covenant Church, along with pastors of daughter churches: Sergey Smirnov (Magnitogorsk), Maksim Bulyshev (Blagoveshchensk), and Dmitry Ulyashchenkov (Sterlitamak).

The ministers spoke about the value of every person in the Church, teamwork in ministry, and faith that helps believers endure trials and keep moving forward.

On the second day, during the Sunday service, the sermon was delivered by Alexey Ivshin, senior pastor of God’s Grace Church in Izhevsk and coordinator of the social ministry. His message focused on the spiritual growth of the Church and the maturity of believers.
“Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13).

New Covenant Church began with ministry to vulnerable people, including support for those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Over the past 15 years, nine daughter churches have been planted in Blagoveshchensk, Sterlitamak, Magnitogorsk, Orenburg, Davlekanovo, Birsk, Beloretsk, and Oktyabrsky.

Today, the churches of the association run children’s and youth ministries, Sunday schools, home groups, feeding programs for people in need, rehabilitation centers, mercy homes, and charitable foundations. The churches are actively involved in social and community outreach.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).
