Head Bishop Eduard Grabovenko’s mother passed away

Official releases

On the 7th of June, Anna Grabovenko, the mother of the Head Bishop of the Pentecostal Union of Russia Eduard Grabovenko passed away at the age of 88.

On behalf of the believers of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith of the Pentecostals the Board expressed sincere condolences to Bishop Eduard Grabovenko, his father Anatoly and all the family and friends. Today sister Anna is with the Lord, and for Heaven it is a gain. However, for us who remain on earth, the passing of a loved one is always sad. May our Lord Jesus Christ, whom Anna loved so much, support the family in this difficult time.

Everyone who knew Anna Grabovenko could say that she was a person of peace: always calm, wise, sincere, cheerful, open and hospitable. Her faith and love for God was reflected in her relationships with people: she accepted people as they were, prayed for them and inspired them. God's Word was her guide; she checked everything against it, always followed the Word of God. God gave her the joy of watching her grandchildren growing and lived to see her great-granddaughter, who was named after Anna.

And now her time has come, she went quietly and peacefully to her Lord and Savior, to Whom she dedicated her life and looked forward to meet. We pray and believe that the Lord will comfort all to whom Anna is dear.

“Blessed are those who die in the Lord.”

The memorial service and celebration of Anna's life will take place on June 9 at 13:00 (Perm time) at the New Testament Church of Perm (93, Uralskaya Street, Perm).
